Rain beating against my bedroom window, stormwarnings playing on the TV in the background. It did get heavier. Crazy. It was bad enough that NASA decided to redirect the Space Shuttle Endeavor to land in CA. Damn.
Thank God for my handy blue-light LED flashlight. It was really really dark when all the lights went out after a lightning strike somewhere in the area. We were in the dark for over an hour. It was getting toasty in the apartment but the time the power came back on. ick. Can’t imagine what …
